Morning Yoga Teacher: Connie Topp received her 200 hour certification in the style of Integral Yoga in February of 2008 and went on to study Yoga Therapy and received a 500 hour certification in Integrative Yoga Therapy in September of 2008. Connie enjoys teaching small classes in her home studio and working with the elderly and other special needs populations. Her hope is that yoga practitioners experience yoga on all levels of being; physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Evening Yoga Teacher: Alice Mcadory says, “When I started practicing yoga, I saw immediate changes in my mind, body, and spirit. What a huge difference in my stability, strength, and flexibility! But, the biggest difference is the increase over time in my patience, compassion, and understanding of others. The change has been truly transformational and I continue to reap the rewards of practice. My favorite quote about yoga comes from Erich Schiffman ‘Yoga is a way of moving into stillness in order to discover the truth of who we really are. It is a matter of listening inwardly all the time, and daring enough and trusting enough to do as we are prompted to do.’ My goal is to be able to effectively share with as many people as possible the many benefits of yoga, especially helping others in finding that silence and knowing that exists in all of us. I have been inspired by all of my teachers, but especially by Rolf Gates, his profound insights, excellence in teaching, and his book ‘Meditations From the Mat'”.
