FAQs

2013-01-02 05.13.03Why should you give blood? Because you never know when you or someone you know will need it.

Blood donating is a simple four-step process: Registration, Medical history and mini-physical, Donation, and Refreshments.  It takes about one hour to give blood if you have an appointment.

Will it hurt? It may feel like a slight pinch or sting for just a second.  But there is no pain during the donation. Think about how good you will feel knowing you are helping save lives.

Who can give? If you are over 17 years old, in good health and weigh over 110 lb. you can donate. Yes, old people can donate. No excuses.
